Day 7 🐈‍⬛

Day 7 🐈‍⬛

Now Stitch has been with us for one week and I feel that we have met so many mile stones, it has been so exciting building our relationship. Today has been all about trying to make him well again though, and he is still a little mad with me for it. His eye is still very runny, and he has it closed most of the time. The eye drops were not popular at all, which is understandable. But then on top of it, we noticed some limping yesterday, and today it was a lot worse. We have been in contact with Sofia about this. I've seen it for some days, but it was so little then and I thought I might imagine it, until yesterday one of our friends noticed it too. Today you cannot deny it though. We have checked his paws, which today after the "big eyedrop abuse" was not as popular. But with some help from my partner and some soft cat snackies for distraction I looked as closely as I could manage and rubbed his paws with more of the vitamin d oil. I couldn't see any hairs poking him like Sofia suggested I look for, but they are quite dry still. His claws looked alright from what I could see as well. I'm a bit worried for him and we are wondering if you have any other ideas, or if he should be checked? I will send you a video of his limping so you can see what it looks like. Together with the red swollen  eye he is one poor little guy đŸ„Č

I can tell when he jumps up the sofa or windowsill that his back legs give away a little when he tries to push himself up. We are really confused. He has been very calm and not not really done anything "athletic" that we can think of to hurt himself and cause a limp like this.

This was his eye two days ago. This morning he still had some dry stuff around it but it was looking better.

Sofia gave him this once two days ago. She gave us this and another pipette just for washing the eye. yesterday we only washed his eye with the other one. This morning we washed it and then gave him some of the comfort shield eye drops.

Katie:
Ok. Kikki says since it has color that its an infection and comfort shield wont help. Im asking her if we should book a vet appointment for him.
And i can take hom, just so you know. Its our responsibility during the test period to care for him

This should help his eye
